Your dental hygiene visit includes:

  • Oral cancer screening
  • Gum Disease Evaluation consists of periodontal charting to measure pocket depths (adults), gum recession, and tooth mobility
  • Scaling the tooth surfaces to remove plaque (soft) and calculus (hard) deposits
  • Examination of teeth and existing restorations to detect decay and breakdown of old fillings or crowns
